Chez Reavie Wins the RBC Canadian Open

July 28th, 2008

Titleist ambassador Chez Reavie trusted a bag full of Titleist equipment (Pro V1x golf ball, 909 driver (coming in October), 906F2 fairway, Z Muscle Forged irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron putter) to capture the RBC Canadian Open in wire-to-wire fashion for his first PGA Tour title, closing with a 1-under 70 for a three-shot victory over fellow Titleist ambassador Billy Mayfair. Listen to what Chez had to say about his Titleist equipment and his first PGA Tour title by clicking on the video player below.

Interesting and informative. Good insight into a pro’s thoughts on well engineered and designed equipment. Like a dependable car, Titleist continues to provide quality equipment for those who love the game.

This is yet another example of how Titleist and Acushnet golf continue to not just evolve with the game, but rather play a crucial role in helping the game evolve. Based on readings, this is a continuation of efforts that began with the 905 driver, focusing on ball rotation and launch angle to produce the best result - length+accuracy. The best part of this is that it not only benefits tour players, but also weekend warriors such as myself. Keep up the great work, and thanks for not losing focus of us little guys.
