I have just ordered a set of AP2 irons, but I've been told the wait time is 10 weeks. Is this purely due to the high demand for these irons?

I'm looking at buying some new Titleist clubs. I'm playing off about a 12 or 14 and would like to know the difference between the AP1 and AP2 irons.

I currently use the 755 irons with 3985 stiff graphite shafts due to a shoulder accident which occurred several years ago. From a comparison stand point, does the 755 equally compare to the AP1 or AP2? Which shaft is comparable in a heavier weight graphite?

Extensive consumer testing during the development phase for AP2 irons revealed that players preferred the feel of the AP2/Project X 5.5 combination. Read more about the differences and similarities between Dynamic Gold and Project X on FittingWorks.com.

Can you please tell me why the AP2 irons have the Project X 5.5 as the stock shaft? Isn't this the equivalent of a Dynamic Gold S300 (i.e., stiff)?

Thanks

I have been playing another manufacturer's clubs for 8 months now and was never that sure of them. I got custom fitted today by my pro at Scotscraig Golf Club in Scotland, and after trying various shafts and heads from the fitting cart I was fitted for the AP2 irons with Dynamic Gold shaft. I was a bit worried about the high launch shaft into the wind as it's always windy but the AP2s blew that concern away. These irons are superb, I'm hitting the 6 iron 15 - 20 yards further than my old clubs with a nice high flight.
