I have been a club golf professional for 15 years, and have the opportunity to hit everything under the sun. For the last 4 years I have been a staff player with another manufacturer. Then I saw the Z-Blends. I am confident in saying these are the greatest iron I've ever hit. Kudos Titleist! Now I use Titleist everything, and am waiting for the 909 to come out!

Hey guys,
I finally got my new Z Blend irons with Project X Flighted shafts. It was quite windy here today, but I hit a big bucket anyway. I'm a fairly accomplished iron player, and I must say these are the most marvelous feeling irons I have ever hit. I was easily able to hit fades to hold it against the wind, as well as draws and knock-downs. These clubs behaved like a well-trained dog, but it's the feel that really set these apart. The ball just rockets off the club face. I played another manufacturer's similar forged blended set, but they never behaved like the Z•Bs do (fades were always difficult with the other clubs). Anyway, hats off to your designers, I can tell I'm going to have some super rounds with these irons. One other note, I found that with these shafts, the ball flight was higher than I expected, so I may have them de-lofted a bit after I get a few rounds in with them. Thanks again for a marvelous set of clubs, or should I say more appropriately, well-behaved instruments.

In order to minimize the amount of inventory we keep on hand, we try to limit our stock of components to the most popular choices. We will, however, gladly ship most club orders without grips installed if you desire a grip model that we do not offer.

On Tour, Greg Kraft won the Puerto Rico Open last weekend with the new Titleist Z Blend Forged irons.
Is there some reason I could not get Carolina blue grips on my Z Blends? The rep said I could only get red. I score much lower with light blue grips! (ok... so I made that up) I'm also surprised more of the blade Tour players are not going to the Z Blends rather than the AP2s. Are any of them using Z Blends? I'm beginning to wonder if I didn't detect something during my tryout of both the AP2 and Z Blends. But judging from the way I hit them, I'm sticking with my decision. Better yet, they should be in and ready for me to pick up this week! Unfortunately, we are still in the 30s here in Michigan, but thank goodness for Carl's Golfland heated tees!

Titleist develops many prototype products for performance-validation testing on Tour. Some of these products are never released to the consumer market. Please check Titleist.com often for current product information.

I went to a demo day event last weekend and tried the new Titleist AP2 and Z Blend irons. I'm a 9 handicap (but it would be lower if my short game were as good as my long game) who has been playing another company's blended iron set. I found the Z Blends to be very, very pure - with much better feel, sound, and flight than my current irons. I ordered the Z Blends and by the end of this month they should be in my bag. They were the purest feeling iron I've ever hit.
