Wednesday Morning at The Barclays
August 22nd, 2007
The rain has lifted and the Pro-Am is underway here at The Barclays. The morning session, which teed off at 7:30 EDT featured several Titleist ambassadors, including Adam Scott, Steve Stricker, Zach Johnson and Davis Love III. With the near washout yesterday, many players are seeing the course for the first time today and are using the Pro-Am to gather all the yardages and research that they need before the first round tomorrow. While the pictures may not show it, the Westchester Country Club features a lot of elevated tees and greens which means blind shots throughout, so course knowledge is imperative. Check out these pics from the morning Pro-Am, including what some of the Titleist players have in the bag this week.

What type of Scotty Cameron headcover is Adam Scott using? Where can I buy this style?
Just wondering why Zach Johnson uses the 735.CM 3 and 4 irons instead of the 695CB irons that would match the rest of his set?
As I have had a similar problem, I am wondering if Davis has any wisdom or advise on avoiding any future problems? Did he get high blood pressure? Is he back at 100%?
I know the 906F4 are coming out this Fall. When is the new Staff bag going to be released as well? Keep up the great work, this is definitely the leading OEM blog site.
Please see the comment above about the new Tour bag.
Any news on if and when the new Tour bag will be released?
The new Tour bag will be available for purchase in golf shops in early 2008.
What is under Zach Johnson’s blue and white headcover?
Zach has three shafts that he uses as training aids under the blue and white headcover.
Is there any reason why Adam has elected not to use the 907D2 this week?
Actually, Adam has been using the 905R since the AT&T National in July. Please see the comments here for more.
I see Adam has switched back to the UST Proforce V2 after using the Aldila VS Proto for a few months. Do you know why he switched back to the V2?
Please see the comments here for the answer to your question about Adam.
Which versions of the V2 are in Adam’s 15.5° and 18.5° 906F4 fairways?
Adam has the 96-gram X-stiff UST Proforce V2 Fairway shaft in both clubs.
