Well, there wasn’t much golf being played at Westchester Country Club this afternoon as the rain really intensified and the temperatures continued to drop (62° F at last check). Some players came out briefly to hit a few balls or work on the putting green but most decided to head home and rest up for tomorrow. We’ve been assured the weather will improve overnight with a much warmer and drier day on tap for tomorrow. We’ll see you then with more images and updates from The Barclays. Titleist ambassadors Nick Watney (left) and Troy Matteson were two of the players who battled the elements to get in some practice this afternoon.

Rain is the story of the day here at The Barclays in Harrison, N.Y. The heat and humidity that has followed the Tour the past few weeks has been replaced with persistent rain and cool temperatures. There has been a steady stream of players visiting the Titleist Tour Van, however, looking to make adjustments to their equipment in preparation for this week’s action. The practice range and putting green have been fairly quiet so far, but we’re beginning to see more and more Titleist players brave the elements to ensure they’re in top form this week. Check out the photo gallery here for more from Tuesday at The Barclays.

The range was empty for most of the morning but that didn’t prevent these diehard Titleist fans from staking out a good spot to wait for their favorite players to show up.
