Being at the PGA Championship is one of the greatest career highlights that a club professional can have. I am always excited to work with them this week. I love to see their excitment and how they handle their nerves. I do my best to settle them down, give them confidence in their clubs, and to help them enjoy their experience. It is great when they tell me that they played a practice round with Adam Scott, Davis Love, Zach Johnson, etc. It is best that they take advantage of playing their practice rounds with those guys because it helps them settle down for Thursday. It is also a chance of a lifetime to play with those players at a major event golf course.
