
Long-hitting J.J. Henry captured the long drive contest blasting his New Pro V1 golf ball 312 yards on the 414-yard 15th hole. He then converted a birdie putt to put his team ahead for good at 19-under par. They birdied the par 4 16th as well to finish with a winning score of 20-under, one better than Titleist ambassadors Brad Faxon and Zach Johnson. Click here for more pictures…

Update from the CVS Charity Classic where Titleist ambassadors Zach Johnson and Brad Faxon hold a two shot lead through 11 holes. The Titleist golf ball team of Chris DiMarco and Camilo Villegas are closing fast, however, thanks to a birdie by Villegas at the par-4 12th. Villegas hit a driver and wedge to about 10-feet to move his team to 15-under. The Quigley team is also making a move, now at 14-under through 13 holes. We’re at the CVS Caremark Charity Classic today in Barrington, Rhode Island, hosted by Titleist ambassador Brad Faxon and Titleist golf ball loyalist Billy Andrade. This marks the ninth year of the event which has raised more than $8.6 million in charitable grants to organizations in and around New England. The field consists of 20 PGA TOUR, Champions Tour and LPGA Tour players paired into 10 two-player teams in a two-day, 36-hole best-ball event. In addition to Brad and Billy, other participants in the world-class field include Masters champion Zach Johnson, David Toms, Chris DiMarco, Camilo Villegas, Jesper Parnevik, as well as Peter Jacobsen and Rhode Island natives Brett and Dana Quigley, who have participated in the previous eight tournaments.
