Geoff Ogilvy and Adam Scott at Oakmont

June 13th, 2007

We spent time with defending U.S. Open champion Geoff Ogilvy and Titleist ambassador Adam Scott as they played a practice round at Oakmont the Monday after the Memorial in preparation for this week’s U.S. Open. Ogilvy and Scott discuss Ogilvy’s first major title, the state of golf in Australia, preparing for the U.S. Open, and family among other wide-ranging topics in this exclusive four-part video series.

I have noticed that Adam Scott is using a new Titleist tour bag at the US Open this week. Please could you tell me if this will be available to the general public and also in U.K.?

Please see the comments here regarding the new staff bag.

I have a 905 driver with 10.5° loft. I am interested in lowering the ball flight a little more. How do I go about doing that without ruining the driver? I have heard all the talk about lead tape, can you do it with the tape? And if you can, where do you put it?

We recommend consulting with an Authorized Titleist FittingWorks Partner to help you optimize your driver launch conditions.

I agree, Artist. The two get along really well but are just as competitive towards each other as they are with any other player out there on Tour. Let’s hope Adam can square up 1-1 in majors with Geoff.

What iron is in the picture of Adam & Geoff? Is it a prototype of some type, or is it a 695CB?

It’s one of Adam’s 695MB irons.

It’s nice to see that two highly skilled athletes can compete with such a high level of class and intelligence.
