Fredrik Jacobson Looks For Strong Finish in Memphis
June 6th, 2007
We caught up with Titleist ambassador Fredrik Jacobson while he was working on his short game in preparation for the Stanford St. Jude Championship. Fredrik has played well in Memphis in the past, finishing T3, T5, and T6 in 2003, 2004, and 2005. He’ll be looking for another strong finish this week when play gets underway at the TPC Southwind layout. Check out these photos of Fredrik and his gear.

What shafts and flex does Fredrik play in his woods and irons?
Fredrik Jacobson. Foot Joy. FJ are initials for both. That’s cool.
Could you let us know the reason for Fredrik’s late start to the season? Also, what shafts are in his woods and hybrid? Thanks.
Fredrik had wrist surgery, which is why his season has gotten off to a slow start.
What are Fredrik’s specs…shafts, lengths, lofts and lie? Thanks for the great pictures and info on the site.
Fredrik’s clubs are pretty stock for a PGA Tour player. His 907D2 has 8.5° loft and a 45″ Fujikura Rombax 6V05 stiff shaft. His 695CB irons are all standard loft and lie, and have True Temper Dynamic Gold Lite S400 shafts at +½” over standard.
Do you know what grind that is on Fredrik’s 59° wedge? Is it a T grind? M?
Fredrik’s 59° wedge has a V grind.
