Masters champion visits the Tour Van
April 12th, 2007
As you can imagine it has been a whirlwind few days for Zach Johnson. He is a genuinely nice kid with a great future. He isn’t kidding when he says this whole Masters victory is surreal. I mentioned in a post last week that I wouldn’t be surprised if Zach posted a Top 10 at The Masters. I guess he proved me right in a big way! He made a point to stop by the Titleist Tour Trailer Wednesday to thank everybody for the continued support he has received from the Tour Leadership team, “except The Voke. He hasn’t done anything.” We all had a good laugh.

I noticed that Zach Johnson plays a 19° utility, a 735.CM 3-iron, and a 695CB 4-iron. Does he have the lofts tweaked?
Congrats Zach….my best wishes to you and your well earned success!!
Come on guys, you needed to give him a GREEN hat to go with the jacket! Hats off to Zach for playing so well in the first round at Hilton Head, I’m sure he’s more than a little tired.
The hat does look good with the pin flag, you have to admit.
