I saw that the 907D2’s face is thicker at the bottom and thinner up top, promoting a higher launch angle. I have a 905R with an Aldila NV 65-S. I went to a FittingWorks partner (Idle Hour CC in Macon, Ga) and that combo had me at around a 14.2°-14.5° launch angle. I was wondering if the 907D2 with an Aldila VS Proto 65 would give me similar results.

Thanks,
Stephen

The only way to find out for certain is to return to your Authorized Titleist FittingWorks Partner to test both setups on the launch monitor.

Is there a significant difference in the MOI of the 907D2 vs. the 905R?

The MOI values for the 907D2 are 2% greater for heel-toe off-center impacts and 8% greater for high-low off-center impacts.

Are any Titleist Tour players using the 907D1 driver? Also, regarding the 755 irons, I am in between the regular flex and stiff flex shafts. Is there a correlation to swing speed? If so, what speeds would the regular flex shaft be good for?

Love the hat photos.

Thanks,
Ron

We’ve had several Tour players put the 907D1 driver into play this year. Many others are continuing to test with it.

An Authorized Titleist FittingWorks Partner will be able to help you determine the right shafts for your 755 irons.

Do Tour players feel as though they have more control with the new 907D2 versus the 905 model? In general, do Tour players believe smaller heads provide more workability? Thanks.
